LANDLORD & PROPERTY OWNER RESOURCES

Ivery Fresh Start Housing Network works with property owners, landlords, and real estate investors who are open to considering qualified renters who may have credit or rental-history challenges but demonstrate stable, verifiable income and the ability to meet established rental requirements.

Our resources are designed to help housing providers evaluate opportunities, prepare properties, understand prospective tenants, and make informed decisions while maintaining control over their own rental criteria, screening, approval decisions, lease terms, deposits, and property management.

Practical tools and information to help property owners make informed rental decisions, protect their investments, and create successful long-term rental relationships.

A FRESH START DOES NOT MEAN LOWER STANDARDS

Participating in the Ivery Fresh Start Housing Network does not require property owners to abandon their rental standards or automatically approve an applicant.

Our goal is to help connect housing providers with prospective renters who may deserve an opportunity to be evaluated beyond a credit score or past rental challenge.

Property owners retain control over their properties and make their own screening, approval, deposit, lease, and final tenant-selection decisions.

GOOD CANDIDATES MAY INCLUDE RENTERS WHO:

• Have stable, verifiable income sufficient to meet the property's rental requirements.

• Have experienced credit challenges because of circumstances such as divorce, medical expenses, job loss, or other financial setbacks.

• Have previous rental-history challenges but can demonstrate improved financial stability.

• Are seeking an opportunity to establish or rebuild a positive long-term rental history.

CONSISTENCY MATTERS

Property owners should establish lawful, written rental criteria and apply those standards consistently. Participation in Ivery Fresh Start Housing Network does not replace a property owner's responsibility to comply with applicable federal, state, and local fair housing and rental laws.
